Azrael Book Cover

This comic edition brings an interesting series of events to the story of Azrael. Fugitive borderlines on a noir-style crime novel, rather than the usual crime-fighting, Batman-centric action style that I’m used to. Giving Azrael more human qualities leads the audience to relate more with his character, and question whether he is guilty of his actions.

Fugitive also shows the guest-star, Huntress, as she goes through challenges that are integral to her story arc in this edition. I jumped into this comic without context, and I’m excited to read more.
