The Tennessee Home Garden Variety Trials program was initiated in 2017 with the goal of helping home gardeners answer the question, “Which variety will do best in my Tennessee home garden?” Growing a well-adapted variety is important, as it can result in higher yields, more flavorful produce, and reduced chemical applications to control pests and diseases.
