Understanding and Using Statistical Data

When using data in your research, or referring to research containing data, it is important to understand how data can be misleading. Psychology and sociological research often includes case studies or original data gathered through observation of a population group. The size of the group, age, health, and other variables should be considered when determining whether the study accurately represents the target population in whole. Watch this short video (4 minutes) to better understand this and to avoid misleading your audience.
