Scholarly articles are articles written by experts in a particular field, and are considered reputable sources to use for academic assignments. What does "peer reviewed" mean? Peer reviewed articles are articles written by experts which are then reviewed by their peers and edited prior to publication. Some databases use scholarly/peer reviewed interchangeably.
