If you want to write a paper about Psychology, and you don't have a topic, there are a few good places to get ideas. One is from the news articles featured in the RSS feeds on the "Psychology Home" tab of this guide. Current news articles in the field of psychology are great ideas for paper topics. You can also look through the table of contents of a psychology journal. The American Psychological Association also keeps a list of  Psychology topics that you might find interesting.

For help in formatting your psychology paper, you should first know what style the paper should be written in. The most common style for Psychology writing is APA style, from the American Psychological Association. It might be best to check with your professor first, just in case he or she prefers MLA style or some other style.
