Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) is a professional certification for productivity software:MOS certification

Exam Fee Waiver

Students enrolled in INFS 1010, ADMN 1311, or ADMN 1313 may take a free exam with permission from their instructor. The instructor must submit a test authorization form to the Testing Center twenty-four hours in advance. Prior to the exam, students should create a Certiport.com account in order to receive their exam results.

Certification for College Credit

Prior learning assessment credit may be granted for up to 25% of the credit hours required for a degree. Students should complete a Credit for Life Experience Form and contact the Business & Computer Technologies Department at 865-694-6656. Proof of certification(s) must be submitted with the form.

  • MOS EXPERT Certification in MOS 365/2021 Word = ADMN 1311

  • MOS EXPERT Certification in MOS 365/2021 Excel = ADMN 1313 

  • MOS Specialist Certification in MOS 365/2021 Word, Excel, and Access = INFS 1010

Each exam requires a $15 non-refundable fee ($15 + $30 proctoring fee if you are not enrolled as a current student).
