The Common Academic Committee is made up of three working groups:
- Event Planning Team - which meets to discuss and plan upcoming events for the calendar year
- Grants and Budgets Team - which meets to discuss funding of committee activity and of the mini-grants awarded to Pellissippi faculty and staff
- Branding and Marketing Team - which meets to commission marketing materials and to distribute touchstone items for students in order to promote CAE and to build a community of belonging
- CAE Steering Team - which meets to set the committee agenda. Officers include the Committee Chairs and Team Leaders.
