Searching the Open Internet for LGBTQ Info

Searching for any legitimate information on the internet can be an adventure, but this is especially true for LGBTQ research, as it is for any research related to human sexuality. Nearly any term, word, or phrase popularly considered to describe some aspect of the LGBTQ community that you use in a search can also yield results from pornography sites. Consider avoiding or reducing this possibility by restricting searches to web sites focusing on scholarly resources or using the library's databases when searching for reliable information.

BiNet USA, a 501C3 nonprofit organization, is the oldest national bisexual entity in the United States. Campus PrideNet
