  • American History in Video
    American History in Video provides a rich collection of video online for the study of American history. The collection enables analysis of historical events, and their presentation over time, through commercial and governmental newsreels, archival footage, public affairs footage, and important documentaries.
  • American Song
    history database of music from America's past. Includes songs by and about American Indians, miners, immigrants, slaves, children, pioneers, and cowboys. Includes songs of Civil Rights, political campaigns, Prohibition, the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, anti-war protests, and more. Over 30,00 tracks of African American Music are included. A collection of over 4,000 albums and over 60,000 songs.
  • Anatomy.tv  
    Rating
    An interactive anatomy guide, click on Anatomy tab for visual anatomy guide, on MRI to view magnetic resonance imaging of area, on slides to biomechanical, clinical, disection or radiology slides. Click on Movies for a model of certain joint or muscular movements.

The College's media collection includes several formats:  electronic resources, videos and compact discs.

Search/Browse the Online Catalog

These materials can be located with the online catalog.

To search only for multimedia resources, use the Advanced Search and specify PROJ MEDIUM under Material Types.

 

Where are the videos on Campus?

 

Videos, both VHS and DVD, that are available on the Pellissippi Campus are located in the Educational Technology Services (ETS), Room 244, in the Goins Building. 

Some videos are housed in the Educational Resources Centers at the site campuses.

FMG Streaming Video

FMG On Demand streaming videos are available through the TBR Media Consortia.  Watch videos in American and English literature, history, religion, and theater.  Faculty can request an FMG account to create their own playlists: FMG Account.
