Pellissippi State ID Card

Pellissippi State students, faculty, and staff must present the Pellissippi State I.D. card at the library's circulation desk (or ERC service desk at other locations) in order to check out library items and use reserve materials. These photo I.D. cards are issued by designated offices of Pellissippi State Student Life and Recreation. Visit their web page or ID FAQ for further information.

Community Borrower's Cards

Area residents who are 18 years of age, or older, may register for a Community Borrower's Card that permits checkout of library materials. A valid Tennessee Driver's License, or other acceptable proof of identity, age, and Tennessee residency must be presented at registration.

A Community Borrower's Card can be obtained at the Library's Circulation Desk at Pellissippi Campus or the ERC service desk at extended campus locations.

  • The card is valid for one year and may renewed.
  • Community borrowers may have a maximum of 5 items checked out at once, with a limit of five renewals per item.
  • Overdue items must be returned before any other materials can be borrowed.
  • Community borrowers are subject to the Library's stated loan periods and overdue policies.
  • Community patrons who reside more than 100 miles from a Pellissippi State location (no local address) may be asked to verify that they are in good standing with their local library or any other Tennessee library where they live.

TBR/UT (TALC) Card

Currently enrolled Pellissippi State students and currently employed Pellissippi State faculty and staff members are eligible to apply for a TBR/UT (TALC) Borrowers Card. This card permits check-out of circulating materials at participating TBR/UT libraries in accordance with the lending library’s local policies. Come to the Library's circulation desk at Pellissippi Campus or to the ERC service desk at other Pellissippi locations for a TALC card.

  • A valid TBR/UT (TALC) Borrower's Card and a photo I.D. must be presented at the lending library in order to check out materials. You may also be asked to present your valid Pellissippi State ID card.
  • Borrowers are subject to the rules and policies of the lending library and are responsible for any financial obligation incurred at the lending library as well as for any collection fees accrued.
  • The card is valid for the current semester only. Plan to stop by Pellissippi's library for a new card each semester.
  • Students not enrolled in summer classes at Pellissippi State are not eligible for the TALC borrower's card during the summer.
