About the Library

The length of borrowing items in the circulation collection is 4 weeks for adjunct faculty (items may be recalled after 2 weeks). The library's circulation services libguide provides additional information about the library's services and policies.

Instructors can place materials on reserve for their students to use. It is worth mentioning that publishers may be willing to provide a free copy to the instructor for this purpose upon request.

Interlibrary loan is also available.

Also among the library's faculty services are: information literacy and research instruction sessions (and other types of instructional support), faculty tools, and faculty can make materials purchase requests.

Library online collection is accessible from anywhere by faculty and students

  • on-campus, no password needed
  • use library content in class via instructor’s workstation and embed library links in PowerPoint, faculty “h” drive via campus network, or  via Library Website
  • from inside your D2L course shell, contact a librarian for assistance placing links to databases, ejournals, articles, ebooks, streaming videos, and streaming audio in D2L.
