Dr. Siddhartha Mukherjee is a cancer physician and researcher. His book, The Emperor of All Maladies, is the winner of the 2011 Pulitzer Prize for general nonfiction. He is an Associate Professor at Columbia University and a staff physician at Columbia University Medical Center.
Tim Folger is a contributing editor at Discover and On Earth magazines. His articles have appeared in National Geographic, Discover, Scientific American and other national magazines. He has been the series editor for The Best American Science and Nature Writing since 2002.
